The Terri Shiavo case is extremely disturbing. Terri is being treated worse then a death row inmate. Their execution is more humane than what Terri is going through with starvation and dehydration. The doctors really don't know if she feels pain or has any awareness underneath her damaged body. The mind is an amazing and complex organ that we do not fully understand and the "experts" are trying to tell us that she feels no pain? Ultimately how can they prove that!
If indeed she feels no pain in being starved to death then what is wrong with her remaining alive? Her husband and the rest of the media claim she would not want to remain in a "vegetative state". If she supposedly feels nothing in being starved to death than she feels nothing in remaining alive, especially when there are those willing to take care of her. So why the focus on killing her? She is not terminally ill.
But let's go with the terminally ill thing. If you had a pet dog that was terminally ill, you would not starve your pet to put it out of its misery would you? Why then is it ok to treat another human with less regard than a dog?
Her death will become a shame for our nation. It will demonstrate our lack of understanding of life and a disregard for God and His love. Are there no boundaries that we are not willing to cross? Where does it stop from here? Our rejection of God has disabled our ability to know good from evil. We are slowly slipping into more and more compromises till nothing is clear anymore and who is able to tell us where to stop?
What other reason's will we find to terminate another's life? In one breath we protest capital punishment but in another say it is ok to kill Terri Shiavo, who is not terminally ill nor has committed any crime. The only other time I can think of where innocent people were executed through starvation was in the death camps of Nazi Germany.

Vulkon Sci-Fi Convention
I went to the Vulkon Sci-Fi Convention in Orlando over the weekend. I had a great time! Here are some pics of me with Stargate actors Carmen Argenziano who plays Jacob Carter (Selmak) and Gary Jones who plays Sgt. Walter Harriman. I also posed with John Noble who played Denethor in Lord of the Rings.

Morning Meetings!
I am crazy! The more morning meetings (designed for developers) I attend the more demented I become. Programmer speak is driving me to the point of irrational psychosis. Is there a rational one? Organic damage of my brain is accelerated by every increasing "database this" and "api that". Derangement of my personality continues its course to my destruction. I am loosing contact with reality causing a deterioration of normal social functioning. Help! Free me from this sickness...Aaahh! I am slipping into a black abyss!
